Wow! All I can say is, wow. It is so amazing, food, and service by Asiah. It's absolutely amazing. This place was recommended by Chow Down Detroit, and he was correct it's unreal. We drove all the way from Holly, and we were so impressed by the food and service. I always judge a restaurant by their bathrooms. If the bathrooms are clean, the restaurant is clean. That means that the owners and the staff care. To me, at least, lol. The bathrooms were beautiful and very well kept. Thanks for the great road trip.

Had a recommendation from a local to try this place out while I was in town. Had a great experience! The nachos were fresh and tasty with the brisket and the wraps were fantastic. Our server, Ayah was very nice and funny!

This place never fails. Always top service and great food. I love the simplicity of the menu, yet everything is so flavorful. The monthly special is a nice touch. It's a must go if you haven't been!!

5 Stars! We walked in w/out reservations on a Sat night and waited 45 min for a table. Along with a lineup, they were pumping out takeout orders so all good signs for a great meal ahead at this popular spot. A fun atmosphere along with great staff who work as a team to ensure that the dining experience is a good one. Our table of 5 ordered the brisket nachos, brisket tacos, American classic sliders, quesadilla, and chicken fingers along with some fun cocktails and mocktails. Our chicken finger expert rates them a 10/10, and the skinny fries were good too. If you go here, check out the brisket, it was absolutely delicious. I would skip the quesadilla, the chilies were a great touch, but I was personally not a fan of the crispy cheddar cheese top. We will be back again for the brisket tacos and I can't wait to try the salad - looked amazing.

You cannot go wrong with a single food item at this place. We have had numerous things from the menu on a couple different visits and they were all to die for. The cocktails are just as creative and delicious as the food. Yes, it is pricey, but the portions are great in my opinion. The quality of the food is also excellent. You can tell that they put a lot of thought into each menu item and put a lot of care into making it for you. Our waitresses on both visits were very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. We're pretty sure we've just found our new favorite spot! We went both times on a Saturday evening and didn't wait for more than 5 minutes. I will say that it was pretty loud in there because of the tall ceilings and openness, but I didn't expect it to be quiet so I wasn't bothered. P.S. some of the photos are half eaten, we couldn't wait to eat before I got good pictures!

My brother and I decided to head here after the good things said about the food. Boy, am I glad we made the trip! It was pretty packed when we arrived, but we were still seated pretty quickly. We started out by ordering the jalapeno dip. The order comes with chips and pretzel bites that pair greatly. The dip had a cheese topping, which melted pretty easily once dipped and stirred. I ordered the chikn soho and garlic parmesan fries. The soho had a unique blend of toppings that all went well together. The fries had a good blend and came with a homemade ranch. My brother ordered the general tso cauliflower, and the cheese crusted quesadilla. The cauliflower was the best meat substitute I've ever tasted in those terms. The quesidilla had a smokey flavor and had a generous amount of melty cheese inside. The sauces with the quesadilla paired well with most of the food. Clearly, by the number of reviews, tons of people have loved their experience with AAB. So it's no surprise that I highly recommend visiting this joint. If you get a chance, go here and expect to be FED!

I remember years ago what the avenue once was, a ton of good party days but I must say I love the remodel and how they've completely changed the image. The building itself looks incredible, love the ambiance. The service was amazing everyone was so nice and helpful! Sara was our server and she was great! All the food items we got were amazing - the food was full of flavor and the portions were perfect! Drinks were poured generously and very flavorful. Overall great experience and cannot wait to be back!

We just returned from celibrating a birthday at the Avenue American Bistro. There was more than 8 people sharing appetizers and some sawping of tacos and sliders both of which they do very well. I'm trying to say we covered a bit of the menu. I started with the special soup, broccoli cheese which came with a awesome triangle of puff pastry. It was delicious and well prepared soup. The General Tso's cauliflower was sticky, sweet heat deliciousness. It was so good we ordered 2. The smoked wings came out with a nice dry rub and smokey goodness. I ordered it with the white BBQ sauce. While the sauce was good, don't think you are getting Alabama style. So try a different sauce if you have had a proper Alabama white BBQ sauce in mind. The Korean beef brisket taco was packed full of flavors, I added jalapenos to mine and I must say both my son and I loved the heat. A perfect pair with the freshness of the kimchi slaw and brightness of fresh lime. The brisket is good and is a 14 hour smoke, but if you are looking for a slows style melt in your mouth brisket this is not that. However, for this taco I was not mad. It's worth it, especially if you like some spice order the jalapenos you won't regret it. Garlic parm fries, YES PLEASE! What can I say, done very well and a must purchase for the table everytime. It's a no brainer. The reuben egg rolls are rolled by hand every morning and it shows. These torpedoes of cornbeef, kraut, swiss came out pipping hot and juicy. The scratch made thousand island dipping sauce was done well and a welcomed accompaniment. Now for the last item, the Chikin So-Ho slider. You know the saying, save the best for last? It applies here, this hand breaded, then fried chiken coated in honey chili ginger glaze slider was hands down the best of the best in this run at the offerings of the Avenue American Bistro menu. I look forward to my next visit to get the sweet heat shrimp tacos, various wraps, and salads.
